Their portfolio boasts of a wide range of projects from custom homes for clients to extravagant resorts and casinos. The site features a custom Content Management System with a portfolio that utilizes the database to manage the projects and project images. This allows the client to add projects to the portfolios themselves with ease. The site map(Project List) is also dynamic so whenever the client adds a project, the site map will automatically add the new project to the correct portfolio section.

In preparation of changing the direction of the company’s focus, a redesign and freshening up of their web site was needed. By bringing more images of the company’s top selling/popular products and redesigning the menu, customers can now more easily find what they are looking for.

The site has also been better optimized for the search engines with clearer keyword text, page titles, meta tags, etc. In just three short weeks, the site went from not showing up in the top 10 pages of the top 3 search engines (Google, MSN, Yahoo) for their top keywords, to being within the top 1-3 pages in the rankings.

Originally set up using Yahoo site builder, noplacelikemyhouse.com was limited in content scaling and easy navigation. Ava wanted a site that would be easily scalable as she grew her informational site into a sort of online magazine. We therefore set her site up using CMS Made Simple so that she could edit/add pages/categories/images as needed.

The goal of the site to educate the home buying public and to aid first time homebuyers, who are not familiar with the mortgage industry, to avoid being easy targets for unsavory lenders.  All potential borrowers as well as homeowner’s will find useful information on this site.

The purpose of No Place Like My House is to create informed consumers.
