You’ve worked hard creating service packages and programs for your clients.
Now, how do you reach them?
The easiest way is to go where they are already gathering. Social sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter can help enormously.
You’ll want to join groups where your prospects like to hang out. LinkedIn and Facebook have multitudes of groups set up for this, however make sure they are groups of your prospects and not oversaturated with your peers. Join in on Twitter parties that discuss issues that your prospects tend to have.
Join in the conversation, however don’t start off trying to sell to them. Be open and genuinely helpful. Over time you can offer free materials to those who inquire about more information.
Put together a teleclass answering many of the questions that commonly come up in the groups. Invite them to listen. Once they are in your funnel (i.e. your mailing list – they’d sign up to join your teleclass), then you can start sending them more promotional type materials.
There are other websites that often have group forums that you can join. Again, the same rules apply. Be helpful, not salesy or you’ll develop a bad reputation.
Another great way to get in front of the right prospects is to find organizations who have already gathered the people you’d like to work with. There are many organizations that bring in speakers, who’d love to have you come speak to their group. Contact them and see if you’d be able to speak on a topic that would be of great interest to their members.
Don’t forget to ask them for referrals to other groups where you could speak as well. They are usually well connected with other organizations that you could speak at too.
