How to get prospects to call you first

Written by Jenn Leave a Comment

To ensure that your pipeline stays full, make sure your customers/prospects know you’re still around should they need what you offer.  So, how do you let them know that you’re still here, ready to help them?

One of the best ways you can keep in contact with your customers/prospects is by sending out a regular newsletter.

The frequency of your newsletter will often depend on what type of business you’re in, but a good rule of thumb would be to at least send something out quarterly or monthly.

For content, you can write about what is new in your business, projects you’re working on or just completed, industry news, helpful tips related to your business, etc. Make sure it will be something of value to your readers and not just a sales letter. (Though, tooting your own horn a little is acceptable.)

It doesn’t need to be anything fancy. You can send just a regular text email or you can use HTML coded newsletters for a little more pizazz.

There are many different email newsletter services out there such as Aweber, Constant Contact or MailChimp (the one I use),  just to name a few. They are all very affordable and some even have a free plan depending on how many email addresses you have on your list.

They all provide easy to use HTML templates if you’d like to jazz up your newsletter a little. Just select from their styles, input your content and send it out.

Staying in regular contact with your clients and prospects is a great way to ensure that the next time they need your product or service, you’ll be at the forefront of their minds.

As always if you have any questions or need help setting this up in your business, let me know. I’m here to help. 🙂
