Do have a way of capturing your visitors info in order to continue marketing to them?
Just because they didn’t take the time to call or email you immediately, doesn’t mean that they aren’t interested in what you have to offer.
Most businesses however don’t have a way to get them to return to the site or start engaging with them to build that “know, like, & trust” factor.
One of the easiest ways to engage with your visitors and to contact them regularly is to get them to sign up for your newsletter list. (You have one, right? If not, check out this other article describing how to set one up.)
If you do have a newsletter capture in place, how often are you communicating with them?
A good rule of thumb is at least quarterly or monthly depending on your industry. You want to make sure you provide plenty of value in your letters that way people will be sure to want to open your emails.
Your assignment: If you don’t have one set up yet, sign up for a newsletter service and add the code to your site to get people to sign up and keep in touch with them regularly. If you need help with this, let me know. If you do have one set up, make sure you’re sending valuable info to your list regularly.
