Last week I was taking a walk with my husband and we were walking though the woods on our property. He showed me a path he’d cleared to the stream that runs through the lower part of our property, a place that I haven’t visited in many years.
The stream was running higher than usual after the rain we’d had the day before. The sounds of the stream running, along with the sun streaming through the trees made for a very peaceful and serene atmosphere.
It was so beautiful, I had to go back the next day and take a video of it. (If the bugs weren’t so bad this time of year, I’d visit it often and sit by the stream to write!)
It was a part of our property and although we’ve been here over 15 years, I’d forgotten just how pretty it was.
So getting to the point of this story, think about your business. Are there any things in your business that you’ve done, and done well, that maybe you’ve forgotten about? Something that your clients love, that you just take for granted? Is this something that could be used in your marketing materials to help you stand out from the competition?
Your assignment: Review all the areas in your business to see if you’ve "forgotten" or "under-valued" a particular asset, skill or service that could be used to increase business if turned into a "featured benefit".
