When was the last time you took some focused time to work “on” your business rather than “in” it.
Between all the daily distractions of actually running the business, caring for kids, keeping the house (somewhat) clean and taking time out to be with their significant other, most parentpreneurs take very little time to focus on their business.
The video below will remind you that you to take time to do just that.

Great point, Jenn! It is definitely important to take that time to work ON your business. That’s something I’ve learned a lot about through RHH over the past year and I definitely do more of working ON my business than I used to! 😉
When I went to Texas with my husband in Nov., I took along a marketing home-study course. For 2 whole days I went through it and mapped out my entire business plan for this year. Was so amazing to engross myself in working “on” my business without worrying about all the day to day stuffs.
I take at least 3-5 hrs each week to work “on” my business such as planning out what I need to do to market my business and at least 6-10 hrs on “doing” those marketing projects.
The rest of the time is spent on client projects.
It’s so important that people take this time to market consistently or they end up on that dreaded cash flow roller-coaster.
